Kent Goolsby and the gang have cooked up a batch of the most charming and rewarding alt-country efforts of the year, in our opinion, and The Lounge is more than happy to have the boys (and gal) aboard.
With tracks ranging from the likes of "Devil Wind"'s subtle and bare-boned, acoustic glow to the more fully arranged, americana instrumentation of the album's opener, "Modern Men," the offering itself is proof alone that the youngsters these days are, in fact, doing something worth-while with their time and talents.
