Slow down and shut up. The Rusher EP is brutal, gross, and straight to the fuckin' point. These Chicago heavyweights are stoned and ain't exactly sure if they are getting paid tonight, or why the audience is smashing furniture over each other's heads, or who just spilled an entire pitcher of beer on their amplifier, but they're gonna knock your lights out anyway. Slow Horse's brand of metal music is a mix of southern riffage reminiscent of EyeHateGod and Pantera that is equally as convinced that no matter what the non-believers say, Rage Against the Machine is still as cool now as they were ten years ago when you spray painted their name on a half pipe in middle school. I think they probably own a couple Converge records too. Kneel down.
